Tung Wah Smallpox
Hospital Arch
The Hospital Arch was
previously located at the juncture of Belcher's Street and Victoria Road. It is
an arched stone structure with the following words inscribed on an inset
commemorative tablet: “Tung Wah Smallpox Hospital, A.D. 1910”. Tung Wah
Smallpox Hospital was demolished after World War II, but by some chance the
arch remains as a record of the old days when Tung Wah served the public. The
arch is now sited at the Kennedy Town Bus Terminus Sitting-out Area at Sai Ning
Street.
東華痘局拱門
東華痘局拱門最初位於卑路乍街與域多利道的交界，拱門前的紀念石匾上刻有：「東華痘局，公元一九一零年」的英文字樣。東華痘局於第二次世界大戰後清拆，但遺留下來的拱門卻印證了東華過往服務大眾的歷史。拱門現時放置於西寧街的堅尼地城巴士總站。

Wah Smallpox Hospital
The Foundation Stone of
Tung Wah Smallpox Hospital was previously located in Ka Wai Man Road, near the
former site of an anti-plague clinic erected in 1894 in Kennedy Town. The
foundation stone, rectangular in shape (70cm (H) x 78cm (L) x 58cm (W)), was
laid by the then Governor, Sir Henry Blake, on 15 November 1901. Tung Wah
Smallpox Hospital was demolished after World War II, but by some chance the
foundation stone remains as a record of the old days when Tung Wah served the
public. The foundation stone is now sited at the Kennedy Town Bus Terminus
Sitting-out Area at Sai Ning Street.
東華痘局奠基石
東華痘局奠基石最初位於嘉惠民道前防疫診所的舊址，奠基石高七十厘米，長七十八厘米，闊五十八厘米，於一九零一年十一月十五日由當時的港督卜力主持安放儀式。東華痘局於第二次世界大戰後清拆，但遺留下來的奠基石卻印證了過往東華服務大眾的歷史。奠基石現時放置於西寧街的堅尼地城巴士總站。

City of Victoria
Boundary Stone (Victoria Road)
Six boundary stones were
laid by the government in 1903 to define the limits of the then “City of
Victoria” – which comprised the earliest and more densely developed areas such
as Central District, Sheung Wan and Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island then put under
British administration. The Boundary Stone at Victoria Road marked the western
end of the then Victoria City. It is now sited within the Kennedy Town
Temporary Recreation Ground near Sai Ning Street. The other five boundary
stones are located at Wong Nai Chung Road, Bowen Road, Old Peak Road, Hatton Road,
and Pok Fu Lam Road respectively.
維多利亞城界石（域多利道）
香港政府於一九零三年在港島豎立了六塊界石，地域範圍包括了中環、上環、灣仔等香港島上最早發展及人口較多的英治地區，整個區域稱為「維多利亞城」。域多利道的界石是城中最西面的第一塊，現已改放於西寧街附近的堅尼地城臨時休憩公園。其餘的界石分佈於黃泥涌道、寶雲道、舊山頂道、克頓道及薄扶林道。
