由於沿途林蔭極少，部分路段更崎嶇陡峭，非常難行，故不宜在盛夏、天氣不穩定或刮東北風的隆冬行走此徑。
本人建議：
當日，我早上5:15起身，6:30上巴士，到達大埔火車站小巴站7:20，小巴到達烏蛟騰8:20。行完到達大美督巴士總站是下午5:30。
務必多帶兩倍水及麵包前行。
建議集合時間：07：30
（路線長、兼小巴班次疏，需較早出發）

Mini Bus Route 20R toward to Wu Kau Tang, limited schedule, take 7:40am, if
next schedule is 9:10am, click here for information. For this green mini route got a tradition rule, will keep reserve 1 to 2 seats for other pick up station passenger.
The
Green Mini Bus maximum carry 16/19 peoples, if too many people, take Green Taxi
go to Wu Kau Tang, abount $120.
